Committed Hours Policy
Workers will receive the percentage of their sales which corresponds with the number of completed work hours.  If a worker fails to complete their committed work hours, they will receive applicable incentives for the time they have completed, and will incur a penalty for incomplete hours listed below. Any hours arranged to be made up in future sales are will reimburse temporary penalties charged, and are not eligible for reimbursement of increased sales percentages.

Workers who do not attend any of their scheduled work shifts:
50% of sales will be deducted or $12 per hour missed, whichever is greater.

Cancellation/Rescheduling
Workers can cancel or re-schedule their work shift(s) and avoid sales percentage penalties by canceling at least 48 hrs BEFORE their scheduled shift(s).  Rescheduling or cancellations made AFTER the 48 hrs from the start of their shift, will be charged a $10 late notice fee due to the time restraint TTT will incur to find coverage for that shift.  If there is an emergency or sickness, you may send an alternate in to work for you.  Please notify us immediately if you are a cashier or inspector and have an alternate.

Reschedules with Volunteer Coordinator
TTT reserves the right to prohibit workers for the season who consistently re-schedule or who cannot confirm their schedule.

Pre-Sale Passes If You Cancel Or Reduce Your Work Hours
Workers who do not fulfill the amount of hours signed for in accordance with their pre-sale passes (on their drop off paperwork), will be charged $12.00 per hour that was not completed unless your passes are marked as not checked in.

Volunteers who drop off the same day they work
Volunteers who have a drop off appt the same day they work cannot drop off while they are working.  If your drop off appt is before your work shift, allow at least 1 hr before the start of your shift.  Drop off appointments may also be available once your shift is over.  Log in to your consignor homepage to view available slots, or email us to discuss your appointment if you have a large load to drop off prior to working.

Last Minute Changes During Your Shift
If the work coordinator (Kyle) cannot be reached, last minute scheduling changes must be authorized by Laura, Keri, or Sherry. This includes working extra hours or leaving early during shifts.

Long time returning, Non-Consigning Workers who need to complete their hours AFTER the pre-sale may do so with permission from the work coordinator.  A refundable security deposit is required to ensure that pre-sale passes are not abused.  Contact the coordinator for details.

Commitment
Take your situation into consideration and understand TTT’s policy BEFORE committing to work. Consignors are responsible for contacting TTT for cancellations or re-schedules. We understand last minute emergencies arise, so all workers should have a “Back Up” worker just in case.

Task Eligibility
TTT notes which tasks volunteers do best at, and may switch tasks as deemed necessary.  Volunteers can inform TTT of their preferences so that we may increase productivity.  Volunteers who stay on their phone, socialize, are rude to the customer, or do not complete assigned tasks efficiently, will be prohibited from participating. Shopping while volunteering is NOT allowed unless you sign out and inform your team lead.

Assignments
Duties vary daily depending on how busy the event is.  During slow periods, helpers can be pulled from their scheduled duties to tidy up or any other task that is needed. (Ex: Cashiers may be asked to do return to floors when not busy, etc). Checklists each day are issues to Team Leads and they will instruct their group on downtime projects.

Children
Young children are NOT allowed to accompany workers. Older children whom volunteers wish to teach work habits to are allowed to accompany parents as long as it does not prohibit the efficiency of tasks being completed AND with prior consent from TTT.  Their hours will not count toward volunteer hours. The minimum age requirement is now 18 years old to work, unless your teen was previously grandfathered in before the change.

Worker Checks:
Workers who are sellers may pick up their check during pick up hours. If you are a worker who is only for pay and NOT selling, you can pick up your check between 7p-9p on pick up day. Workers who choose not to pick up their check, will have their check mailed.  Accounts with questions, or actions needed, will have their checks mailed once all issues have been resolved.   Addresses on file when registering are used for mailing purposes, contact us before pick up day if your address has changed. Worker agrees to cash issued proceed checks within 45 days of the date of the check. Checks will be void after this time. TTT is not responsible for lost checks in the mail, and sellers assume this risk if they choose not to pick their check up. In the circumstance that a check needs to be re-issued due to loss, theft, expiration passing, etc,  TTT will charge a $50 Check Cancellation and Re-issue Fee to re-issue lost, misplaced, not received checks, or checks not cashed by their 45 day expiration period. Checks not cashed within the 45 day expiration period are subject to re-issue the following sale season. PLEASE CASH YOUR CHECKS ON TIME!

Signing In and Out, and Breaks
TTT will be using a new software based system for signing in and out. The check in greeter will ensure everyone knows how to use the new system. It is the worker’s responsibility to sign IN and OUT, including on breaks. Break time does not count towards volunteer hours, and will need to be made up.  Short shifts do not include a break period, but can be accommodated upon request.

Personal Injury
Workers (all volunteers, alternates, and any individuals attending with you during a volunteer shift) agree to waive any and all claims for personal injury resulting from participation in TTT from whatever cause either foreseen or unforeseen against TTT, its owners, the lessors of the space where the sale is held, any volunteer or paid participants in TTT, or the insurer of TTT.
