CONSIGNMENT SALE
Listed below are duties performed by our workers. Each worker is expected to complete their shifts and tasks. Those who abuse worker privileges and "hang around" instead of work will be prohibited from future events.
Rack Set Up (Husbands)
We
need a large team of men to assist in unloading our truck, and setting
up racks. Be sure to bring a screw gun, an extra battery, hammer, and
tape measure. The rack set up team will be under the direction of Clay
Johns. For reliability purposes, this position is filled by application.
Rack Break Down (Husbands)
We
need a small team of men to assist in breaking down the racks and
loading them onto our truck after the event closes. Be sure to bring a
screw gun, extra battery and a hammer. The rack breakdown team will be
under the direction of Clay Johns. For reliability purposes, this
position is filled by application.
Drop Off Item Inspector
Inspectors check
items from consignors when they drop off. TTT is very attentive to the
quality of merchandise on our sales floor. We want inspectors who can
follow our quality control guidelines, have a picky eye for quality, and
the authority to return rejected items in a friendly manner back to the
consignor. To improve our quality standards, each inspector will be
responsible for signing off on the consignors whom they inspect. For
reliability purposes, this position is filled by application.
Drop Off Floor Runner
Floor runners help the consignor place their items out on the sales floor after inspection.
Door Security (Husbands)
In
addition to our hired security staff, we also need a door monitor to
observe incoming and outgoing customer traffic on pre-sale days,
opening weekend, and discount Friday. Door monitors also collect
pre-sale passes, inspect large outgoing items for paid tags, help
consignors load their vehicle if needed, and other misc. tasks needed
at the front. For reliability purposes, this position is filled by
application.
Item Loader (Husbands)
This
position is needed on pre-sale days and opening weekend. During this
time, we have many large items on the sales floor. Because some of
these items can be bulky or heavy, we need a heavy lifter to monitor
the large item section of the sales floor. When a customer decides on
purchasing a big item, the loader can move it to our holding area for checkout and then assist the customer in loading their vehicle if needed.
Item Counter
We
will have several counters placed at the end of checkout lines.
Counters will count the customer's merchandise and issue them a
slip with their item count on it. The slips are used at checkout to
verify number of items bought to number of items scanned. The purpose
of item counters is to reduce checkout time at the register.
De-Tagger
De-Taggers
remove customer's tags from their items at checkout. De-Taggers also
verify tag descriptions to the item during checkout and bag items for
the customer.
Cashier
A
full team of cashiers are needed on pre-sale days, opening weekend and
discount Friday. Cashiers are in charge of correctly scanning tags and
collecting funds from the customer using our simple point of sale
computer system. Each cashier is signed in to an appointed register.
For reliability purposes, this position is filled by application. References and background checks may be required upon our
discretion.
Floor Monitor
Floor
monitors are in charge of the sales floor during event days. They
re-organize and condense the sales floor as items are purchased,
maintain the clothing racks, return items back to the sales floor when
needed, and place items in our holding area for customers while they
shop. Floor monitors also patrol the floor to observe customers and
help them if needed.
Sorter
Sorters organize leftover items back to seller ID# after the event closes in preparation of pick up day.
Pick Up Day Runner
Runners
are in charge of retrieving consignors sorted merchandise from the
sales floor and bringing it to the front for them during pick up day.
Clean Up
Pack office supplies, pick up trash off the floor, etc.
