Pricing Guide: Conyers
Items in consignment sales are generally priced between 1/4 and 1/3 of retail prices. Items that are very unique, or more expensive than the popular type of item can be priced at 40% of it's retail cost.
Rule Of Thumb
Want to know the retail price of an item?
Search online for the current retail price.
Basic Brands
Target, Wal-mart, K-Mart etc.
Standard Brands
Kohls, Macy's, Sears, JC Penney, etc.
Popular Brands
Gymboree, Osh Kosh, Children's Place,
Old Navy, Hollister, Abercrombie, etc.
Things to Keep in Mind When Pricing
- Consignors determine their own prices but should follow our guidelines for selling success.
- Inexpensive, quality items will sell first. Overpriced items may not sell at all.
- Consignor's who sell the most items have quality items that are fresh and pressed, scrubbed down, follow the 1/4 of retail price guideline, and discount most items.
- By marking your items for Donate, you give them an increased last chance to sell. If an item is marked for donate and it doesn't sell by the last weekend of the event, it will be eligible for "Dollar Dash".
- Always price things to MOVE, not STAY!
Tips About Discounting or Donating an Item

Mark as many things as you
can at 50% off. If the item hasn't sold by the end of the week at full
price, it was probably priced too high to begin with.
- Ask yourself, is NOT discounting an item worth
saving it and trying to sell it in the next sale?
Consignors can waste too much time, labor, and space re-preparing items for upcoming sales every time an item doesn't sell. If the difference in discounting versus not discounting an item is small, it should probably be discounted.
- If your item does not sell
and you do not want to pick it up, use the donate option as you create
your tags in our system. Now, Donate items are eligible for "Dollar Dash" if they don't sell by the end of the event. Remember, it makes sense that if you mark an
item for donate, that you would also mark it for discount to increase
your chances of selling it.

If you have a 3 in 1 crib that is drop side, you may sell it set up as the bed and discard the hardware to convert it to a crib.
